A free, fun-filled intergenerational family event, South Shuswap Canada Day has been bringing together our communities and visitors alike for the past 36 years. This all day event held at Centennial Field begins with the Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Parade, Opening Ceremonies, games, bouncies, live music and entertainment for young and old alike, and ends with a bang when the spectacular display of fireworks are set off.
A non-profit society, Canada Day Committee is run by a group of local volunteers who are dedicated to making our local Canada Day festivities the ‘Biggest Little Celebration’ around. We have a lot of fun planning the days events and even more fun celebrating on Canada Day. You are more than welcome to join this great team!
